DESCRIPTION
|
|
Fungsi
sistem instalasi mekanikal-elektrikal
dan plumbing ( MEP ) disuatu gedung merupakan suatu kelengkapan
fasilitas bangunan yang digunakan untuk menunjang tercapainya unsur
kenyamanan, kesehatan, keselamatan, kemudahan komunikasi dan mobilitas dalam
bangunan.
Dalam desain bangunan harus selalu
memperhatikan dan menyertakan MEP yang dikoordinasikan desain yang lain
seperti desain arsitektur, struktur, interior dan desain lain. Jenis sistem dan instalasi
MEP sangat beragam, tergantung pada fungsi gedung itu sendiri. Orientasi,
lokasi serta kondisi lingkungan sekitar gedung merupakan faktor penunjang
terhadap keandalan sistem dan instalasi MEP yang dirancang.
MEP pada bangunan gedung meliputi
adanya Plumbing, Fire Fighting, MVAC (Mechanical Ventilation Air
Conditioner), terdiri atas sistem plambing dan sanitasi, pencegahan kebakaran,
pengudaraan / penghawaan, penerangan / pencahayaan, telepon, CCTV dan sekuriti, penangkal petir, tata
suara, transportasi dalam bangunan, pembuangan sampah dan limbah, serta
sistem alat pembersih bangunan.

OBJECTIVES

1. Mengenal
berbagai sistem instalasi mekanikal - elektrikal
dan plumbing dalam gedung.
2.
Mengetahui dasar-dasar
umum perancangan sistem MEP.
3.
Dapat menentukan jenis
sistem dan instalasi MEP yang sesuai peruntukkannya
